1. Purpose
SecureBreez exists to protect people's privacy and security. This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and keeps the network safe and fast for everyone. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
2. Prohibited activity
You must not use SecureBreez to:
- carry out, promote or facilitate any illegal activity under the law that applies to you or to us;
- create, access, store or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form;
- distribute malware, ransomware, viruses or other harmful code, or operate botnets or command-and-control servers;
- send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or phishing;
- launch or take part in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks;
- hack, attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts, or circumvent security measures;
- carry out port scanning, vulnerability scanning or network probing of systems you do not own or have permission to test;
- commit fraud, including payment fraud, identity theft or impersonation;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights;
- harass, threaten, stalk or abuse others;
- resell, rent or sub-license accounts or access without our written agreement;
- share credentials beyond what your plan allows (for example, outside your Family member accounts or business seats).
3. P2P and file sharing
Peer-to-peer (P2P) traffic is allowed only for lawful content, such as open-source software or files you have the right to share. Downloading or sharing copyrighted material without permission is prohibited.
4. Protecting the network
You must not use the service in a way that degrades it for others, interferes with our servers, or exceeds the 5-simultaneous-device limit per account or seat. We may apply reasonable technical measures to protect the network from abuse.
5. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may, depending on severity:
- warn you;
- suspend your account temporarily;
- terminate your account without refund;
- report the matter to the relevant authorities where required by law (for example, CSAM).
Because we keep no activity logs, enforcement is based on reports, abuse notices and network-level signals, not on monitoring what you do online.
6. Reporting abuse
To report abuse involving our network, email Info@securebreez.com with as much detail as possible (date, time with time zone, IP address, and the nature of the abuse).
